Hey all!
I apologize for missing November's update. It's been a busy couple of months for the family.
Great news! The book is finished. I will upload hyperlinked PDFs before Christmas!
Timeline. We're probably looking at early March for shipment, although please note, I don't have any final timelines as of current. The timeline is taking into consideration printers shutting down for weeks over the holidays and their overall busyness, finalizing TKG licensing, and whatever uncontrollables in delivering such a large order might come up.
Thank you so much again for the patience and trust throughout this process. The book was a giant to tackle, but I'm incredibly excited to see what you all think about it!
Below are some recent spreads for previews.
Till next time!

Oct. Update

Hi all!
I'm sorry for the delayed update. Getting ready for Gamehole Con with school going on took me out the beginning half of the month. The convention started today, so come see us if you're in Madison, we're tabling with Goosepoop Games at Booth 21.
The Hands That Feed is in final proofreading! This sandbox shut me down several times while writing it and unfortunately took far much longer than I wanted it to...but I'm stoked for how it turned out! The corporations took more of a back seat then intended, but they still puppeteer around the gangs and religious factions that attempt to hold the grip on their piece of the universe. There's a lot of paths to go down for crews to play long term across the stations. There are dozens of reasons to go back and forth to keep your shore leave fresh while staying interconnected.
Thank you again for bearing with me as I wrestled this book into shape. I will keep you updated next month about how the TKG approval, printing quotes and finalization, and the rest is going. With weeks for each of these potentially, the holidays and Space Penguin Ink to begin fulfillment, I'm sorry to say we're most likely in January/February territory. I'll continue to keep you updated as we go.
Lastly, I'd like to be open about the current campaign we are running on Backerkit with Mothership Month 2025. D. G. Chapman wrote the zine for the campaign, and my work on the campaign page and cover have only taken me a few days to complete because I was able to mix up past campaign assets to make it quicker. Honestly, I have a lot of mixed feelings about launching this project, but the sense of connectedness during a group launch/project like Mothership month (the community I was mentored in, grew in, and have mentored creators in the most) was something I didn't want to pass up, especially after missing last year. Current projects will remain the priority until the end of the year when everything has been sent to the printer/fulfillment processes are beginning.
I'm excited to be so close to printing THTF. I hope you think the delays paid off as much as I do. Thank you again,
Marco
September Update

Hey all!
We had fantastic progress in August (sneak peaks below), but came just shy of finishing the station sandbox (I couldn’t hold myself to just 1000 more words and decided a bit denser text over negative space/illustrations was the way to go). That said, it’ll be done in the next few days. My 3-4 weeks to TKG last update was a mistake/typo. It should have read "to editing" because we need to get writing into editing before sending over to TKG, but as soon as editing gets it back to me, I plan to get to all of the editing suggestions in a day or two then get it over to TKG.
Other good news on progress. Layout is complete! Minus putting in the edited text. I went ahead and nailed down the station section before text was complete. I’m super stoked for you all to open this book!
We’re approaching the finish line and I’ll have a better date estimate for delivery, charging cards, etc soon. I don’t want to rush that, and possibly set a bad expectation, until we have everything about approved for printing which sometimes has some back and forth with it.
Thank you again! I’m so happy the work is all but done, and I can’t wait to get this ordered.

Hey all!
Thank you again for being here. I'm going to keep this quick and dirty, but the gist is we are nearing product complete and being able to send this in for TKG approval in the next 3-4 weeks.
Layout is mostly done. Most text is being sent into proofreading this week. Sandbox writing is about 1000 words away from being complete. Also should be done in about 10 days! Art is also moving along and should be finished within 2-3 weeks.
Change to sandbox: I decided to reduce the total stations to four, instead of six. Word count stayed the same, but the first two main stations I wrote (currently tidying up details) were allocated much more life than the original breakdown and I felt that having two very chunky stations instead of three large enough stations was more play friendly. The other two stations are remaining single spreads. Even with reducing total stations we've added another ~12 pages, so we're sitting at a chunky 176 page hardcover!
I appreciate everyone for the continued patience. I hate running over so much, but the book will be greater for it. I'm really over the moon about how much ready-to-play missions and sandbox there is in here and for how it all turned out. I can't wait to share more with you all. For now here's a new spread showcasing the upgraded art for In Vino Captivitas (written by Chris Airiau).
July Update

Hi all!
First I want to say a quick sorry for missing last month’s update. I don’t intend to miss them again, but for now I have a July update!
Layout is moving along for the edited script and the extended writing has all of the new major players written and four of the six stations about ready for editing. To be honest, the new writing is taking a bit longer than I expected – partially from a change in my availability and partially from the nature of the sandbox.
That said, I’m stoked for all of the new entities, groups, and how much meatier it makes the book. Specifically, how it reels the corporate horror into a more lively world where the corporate giants are intertwined with criminal, worker, and religious controllers alongside them.
One way I’m keeping development time down that I’m really excited about is bringing on D G Chapman (Haunting of Ypsilon 14, Another Bug Hunt, The Horror on Tau Sigma 7) to write Carved Like a Covenant! I’m stoked to have D G, really excited about the horror, slew of xenotech, and for the rival party of Knights!
That’s it for the update. Thank you again for being here! I’m stoked for The Hands That Feed to continue moving forward!
